We were so sorry to hear today of the death of the incredible wildlife photographer, Doug Allen. Doug was with us just last year in a fabulous event at the Rowing Club. A truly inspirational speaker, an amazing photographer, and a very gentle modest man. Perhaps it is some consolation that he died in Nepal, immersed in nature and surrounded by friends, still pushing the boundaries. He loved his time in Evesham and had hopes to come back again next year. Sadly not to be but those of us lucky enough to have heard and seen him certainly won’t forget him.
