Evesham Festival of Words is marking its 10th Anniversary by launching an exciting new initiative – an online Travel Club, featuring a series of zoom talks by Festival Chair, seasoned traveller and travel talk presenter, Sue Ablett.  This will include talks on far-flung overseas destinations, less far-flung overseas, as well as some talks from Sue’s new series of Days Out in the UK. The talks will be presented live on specified dates, but after the live event a link will be sent to all Travel Club members to allow them to watch on replay.

This will be a membership Club, with an annual subscription of just £12, giving access to 12 online talks throughout the year, with a bonus talk as part of the launch. The Travel Club year will be 1st August – 31st July, with subscription due in July.  Those joining during the year will pay a pro rata sum. Further details of how to make payments to follow.

The Travel Club will launch with a bonus talk, Bums on Seats: Behind the Scenes at Evesham Festival of Words – Tuesday 7th July, 11 am. Subsequent talks are: Italy – Hidden Gems of Calabria (Monday 3rd August, 2 pm); Days Out in the UK: Exmouth, Topsham and the Jurassic Coast (Wednesday 2nd September, 4 pm) and Vietnam (Monday 5th October, 11 am).

Further dates still to be confirmed but we plan: Sicily (November); Days Out in the UK: North Norfolk – Wells to Cromer (December) and Antarctica (January)
