Despite a horrible weather forecast, the sun continued to shine as we did a beautiful walk from the village of Slad, literally walking in the footsteps of Laurie Lee. Led by independent TV producer, David Parker, the walk was greatly enhanced by the chance to listen to recordings of Laurie Lee speaking about his beloved village and places that meant so much to him. Another great Festival event.
